The ascension of the Prophet has always been one of those narratives that have been discussed in every Islamic period and have influenced the language and various fields of art, including Iranian painting and Reverse Painting on glass. Examining the differences and similarities of these works, from the perspective of stylistics and emphasizing the important visual elements in each work, is the aim of the present research is to answer the basic question that what stylistic features the art of Iranian painting and Reverse Painting on glass with the subject of the ascension of the Prophet and What are the similarities and differences between these works. In this regard, information has been collected through library sources and studied in a descriptive-analytical way. The results of the research by studying and comparing technical components such as drawing methods and visual components such as form, colour and decorations of 4 Iranian paintings and 4 Reverse Painting on glass indicate that despite the presence of fixed elements such as the Prophet (PBUH), Baraq, Gabriel And in all the works of Fereshte, which is the common feature of these arts, differences in the way of dealing with the subject, the way of drawing each element, the presence of other motifs, including the lion as a symbol of Imam Ali (AS), lines and colouring can be identified. In the Iranian painting, the design of each element is more flexible and dynamic compared to the Reverse Painting on glass, more details are paid and a variety of colours are used a lot, but in the Reverse Painting on glass, the colouring is done in a flat way, and also the Prophet (PBUH) is the main focus of the subject. Ascension in the art of Reverse Painting on glass, while in Iranian painting, other elements are also paid much attention.
