Masjed-e Jame of Varzana has a very important status due to the existence of its many tiling decorations from the Timurid period in different parts of the building. Including the tiling ornaments of this building, we can mention the entrance facades, the south porch, the decorations under the arch between the south porch and the dome chamber, the pulpit and mihrab. among which, its Mosaic Tile (Mo’araq) mihrab, due to reasons such as the lack of research in relation to the structure (general shape), designs, motifs, the lack of reading inscriptions (apart from mentioning the date of its construction) and also the lack of adequate and appropriate visual documentation, has It is very important. Therefore, the aims of this article are to identify and describe the decorative characteristics of the tile mihrab, as well as the Analysis - Comparative Study of the structure (general shape) of its motifs and inscriptions. Therefore, to achieve these Objectives, the questions of this research are as follows: What decorative characteristics can be listed for the tile mihrab of the mosque? And what are its comparable examples in terms of structure, motifs and inscriptions in other tiling decorations of the Timurid era? The research methodology is based on date gathering through field research and documentary resources. It uses an descriptive-analytical approach to analyze the data obtained from the case studies. The results of this research show that the mihrab has structural features, including; The rectangular frame, an vault with a pointed arch, two pendentive and the without Column can be mentioned. The Thuluth inscription with long and elongated vertical elongations, using the phrase "Fasikfikhom Allah wa Hu al-Sami al-Aleem", the decorative form of the phrase "Fasikfikhom Allah wa Hu al-Sami al-Aleem", which consists of connecting curved and arched lines and creating a mihrab-like form, are among the features of the inscriptions used in the mihrab. The use of simple multi-petaled flowers with round petals (Khataei), The use of multiple narrow and wide borders, such as Khattai motifs, that are repeated periodically, the use of motifs such as intervening frame-like forms, the border with a frame-like unit, the border consisting of geometric motifs combined with plant motifs, etc. One of the distinctive features of the mihrab is the motifs, similar examples of which can be found in other mihrabs and other tiling ornaments of the Timurid era.
